Barr. Ken Atsuwete, counsel to Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree, the embattled former Chairman of Asari Toru LGA in Rivers State, has been assassinated.

The APC stalwart was killed early today by unknown gunmen who attacked him and shot him at his residence in Port-Harcourt.

He was one of the speakers at the recently concluded conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, held in Port Harcourt city.

Until his assassination, Atswuete was handling the murder trial of an APC stalwart and former Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government area, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree.
